Corporate
Ausminerals continues development of the it's gold, nickel and uranium projects with a view to bringing them into production as soon as possible.
The agricultural products subsidiary, Kurdeez Lime P/L, has increased sales this year in spite of the ongoing drought conditions in the region, mainly due to the addition of add-on services such as spreading and trucking last year, and the development of new products. Significant growth is forecast for the 2008/2009 financial year with further expansion of the product range, as fertilizers have become very scarce and extremely expensive and farmers are seeking better priced natural products which we will be able to produce. This operation is well established and unlikely to require much further funding.
Management
The company has a Board with collective minerals projects development experience in excess of 80 years. The management is focused on bringing the projects into early production for the benefit of shareholders.
Administration
Overheads are kept to a minimum by having all administrative functions carried out in a central office.
